Alice Wong serves as a corporate director for Hecla Mining and Precision Drilling. She has more than 35 years of experience in the mining and nuclear fuel industries. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Chief Corporate Officer with Cameco for 13 years until her retirement in 2024. She provided executive oversight for human resources, safety, health, environment, quality, information technology, supply chain management, regulatory affairs, internal audit, corporate ethics and ESG performance and reporting. Alice was integral in Cameco’s position as a leading industrial employer of Indigenous peoples in Canada and was a tireless advocate for advancing women and championing inclusion in the workplace and the industry. In recognition of these efforts, she received a Catalyst Champions Business Leader award. Her past board experience includes a provincial crown corporation and national, provincial and US industry associations.
