Karen E. Rubin

Karen Rubin has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Olympic Committee since 2017. She is currently the Chair of the Human Resources Committee and is a member of the Audit Finance and Risk Management Committee. The Canadian Olympic Committee engages Canadians to unite through sport.

Karen has extensive experience as a Director with President’s Choice Bank, Dress for Success Toronto and Humber River Hospital Foundation. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum and has been on the Toronto Chapter Executive Committee and National Governance Committee. Karen has been involved in diversity issues since 1991 when she was a member of Bank of Montreal’s ground-breaking Task Force on the Advancement of Women.

Karen is an accomplished lawyer with more than 30 years business experience in Canada and the U.S., including with Bank of Montreal and American Express Canada. She has a B.A. from York University and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Karen is a graduate of the Rotman Directors Education Program and holds the ICD.D designation. She was appointed a Diversity 50 member in 2013 by the Canadian Board Diversity Council.
