Society for Canadian Women in Science & Technology

SCWIST specializes in improving the presence and influence of women and girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). SCWIST promotes participation and advancement through education, networking, mentorship, collaborative partnerships, and advocacy.

GROW is in our second year of partnership with SCWIST. Our funds helped hire additional coordinators to deliver their core youth engagement programs: STEM Explore workshops (hands-on STEM activities delivered by STEM women role models), Quantum Leaps Conferences (high school conferences organized by high school students with SCWIST support), and e-Mentoring (high school students paired with STEM women).
