Windmill Microlending

Windmill Microlending was founded in 2005 and provides affordable loans to skilled immigrants and refugees. The loans help new Canadians pay for the costs of accreditation, training, and career development so they can resume their prior careers in their new home. Windmill has delivered more than 8,000+ microloans to new Canadians, helping convert their potential into prosperity. Windmill’s has a hands-on system of support and coaching to provide loan recipients with the highest probability of success.

Over the past four years, GROW’s named loan fund has provided immigrant women with affordable loans. This is a permanent loan fund that will continue to provide assistance as the loans are repaid and relent. A portion of our donation also goes toward general operating expenses. (National)
