Marcia Cardamore is an executive, entrepreneur, and venture investor in high-tech. Her philanthropic and venture capital was acquired from the sale of DataMirror, an enterprise software business that she helped create, build, manage, take public, and sell to IBM in her capacity as Executive Managing Director, worldwide operations. In 2011 she founded PeopleSense Foundation focused on systemic change initiatives addressing violence against women and girls globally. A feminist philanthropist and women’s rights activist, Marcia has taken leadership roles in The Equality Fund, The Match International Women’s Fund, The Canadian Women’s Foundation, Women Moving Millions, The Equality Effect, and Every Woman Treaty. Marcia is a founding member of GROW.
