Marion MacKenzie
Marion is a Certified Executive Coach supporting executives and leadership teams. Previously, as President of GCI Canada, a member company of WPP, the world’s chief communications services group, she provided advice to some of the globe’s largest companies particularly in the areas of issues and crisis management. Marion was Vice President, Corporate Communications for Nortel Networks, at the time one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. Marion holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors holding the ICD.D. DEP certification. She is an Atlantic ICD.D DEP instructor in the area of issues and crisis management. Marion is a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Canadian Board and is Chair of the Atlantic Chapter. She acts as a mentor for the Dalhousie University Lab2Market and Founders’ Council programs. She is board Vice Chair for Canadian Feed the Children, an organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Canadian indigenous communities and abroad through community-led partnerships. Marion was a Team Leader for the Toronto Metropolitan University Lifeline Syria Challenge, assisting a Syrian refugee family in resettling to Canada.
